Terms of use

Last updated: October 2, 2026

TrueCue is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard App Store EULA). These terms add a few points specific to TrueCue. If they conflict, the Apple EULA applies.

A practice aid

  • TrueCue helps you practise a straighter, smoother stroke. It is not a measuring instrument.
  • Scores, angles, distances and speeds are estimates from the motion of your wrist, not of the cue. Values marked “about” or “est.” are approximate. We do not guarantee that any single stroke is judged correctly.
  • Heart rate and calories come from Apple Health and are shown for your information only. TrueCue does not give health advice.

Play safely and fairly

  • Mind the people around the table when you make practice strokes, and follow the rules of the room or club where you play.
  • Whether you may wear a watch or use an app during a competition is up to the organiser.

Free trial and purchase

  • Your first 3 sessions or 150 strokes, whichever comes first, are free with every feature.
  • After that, a one-time in-app purchase unlocks TrueCue. There is no subscription. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy.
  • Purchases, Family Sharing and refunds are handled by Apple. Refund requests: reportaproblem.apple.com. Use Restore Purchase to unlock TrueCue again on a new device.

Your data

TrueCue collects no data; see the privacy policy. Your practice history is kept on your devices and, if you use it, in your iCloud. Delete it any time from Me › ☰ › Data & iCloud.

Changes

We may update TrueCue and these terms. The date above shows the latest version.
